The biggest serial killers are free and in positions of power.

I find that most people who believe in ritual magic are people who actually just want power over others.

My lame example:

Some friends are into a certain religion that uses ritual magic. They did a spell for a fellow member who needed a job. My thoughts were, if she wants a job, go out and look for one. What about the more qualified person? Maybe they deserve the job. She didn't get the job.

did they do a sacrifice?

Don't confuse this with spirituality. Spirituality comes from within the person.

Yes, but many of the same qualities and abilities developed through spirituality--astral, psychic-- can come through these practices. It is a kind of bizzaro spirituality though, which obviously ends in darkness and downfall, karmically. Despite what is gained, they lose their good selves.
