What was the racoon packing?

I have a feeling you just entered a war with your racoon friends, because where there is one there are many. Looks like more sleepless nites for you.

Why don't you try just using a tabasco water mixture and spray it around the pots. The pepper smell detures animals and they can do find another food source.

Way to go man, hopefully you can come up with a less violent means of solving this problem, without shooting a gun, Annie Okley.
