dude I doubt you have much experience in trying to interact with the government...
He probably wouldn't hear anything from the gov't until 6 months later, when he's totally bankrupt and out on the streets...
I'm still waiting on child allowance owed to me for the time I spent living on my own when I was underage.
I applied almost a year ago for retroactive payment of 2 years time.
Haven't heard anything yet...
