And I know Im not "scottish" persay. Im a celtic American canadian Mutt. Its mostly a joke because I have a very scottish looking beard (dont act like you dont know what I mean haha), drink exclusively Cutty sark/Johnny Walker/Crown Royal and am in a celt/americana folk punk band. My girlfriend always calls me a scottish bastard. It's tounge in cheek. I'm equally proud of all of my heritage. But once again, why is it okay to call a black person an African American if their family hasnt been in Africa in 300 years, but not okay for me to call myself a scottish american even though my family migrated here less than 100 years ago? ...Haha migrated...apparentl y my family are Scottish Geese or something haha.
As my black friend Aaron always used to say "Bitch, dont call me an African American, Ive never been to Africa and I dont plan on going in this lifetime".
