i see exactly what your saying, ego, but i personally just dont like the idea of levels and higher and lower. thats sort of what created religion, the idea that there are levels of existence beyond ours and that ours is some sort of "trial." in western theology this is interpreted in terms of morals- you do "good" and you win the "trial" and you get into heaven. in eastern thinking this is in terms of spiritual evolution- you do good deeds, the next time around you will be evolved and at a higher position and the position you are in right now is not ideal.

me, i see every experience of the infinite as truly unique and special in its own right, equally perfect. what we are doing here now, is exactly what we were meant to do, because we are choosing it. putting aspects of judgment into free will fucks it all up- if we're gonna have free will then why judge any one choice or experience as better than another choice or experience? thats how sin came about.

so anyway, the point im trying to make is what if the meager souls that inhabit the universe arent so meager? i see each of us as equally divine creators. i dont think theres a being or force that organizes the universe that exists independent of it. seperation is a true illusion. we ARE the universe, and the universe is us. thats the whole idea behind what ms said:

Quote:
The Universe reaches a whole new level of being when it becomes conscious of itself.
We are that consciousness. An extension of it, not separate from it. And everything that exists is also an extension of that consciousness. I know youve experienced psychedelics and had that feeling of being "one" with the universe- that imo is how shit works "behind the scenes" of our egos.

Its sort of like the idea that humans dont consider themselves a part of nature- and that we can partake in behavior that is "unnatural." nature is us!

of course this is highly esoteric stuff that no one can prove either way so im just sharing my perspective for conversations sake.
