The government is proposing a public OPTION. Not a takeover of the private sector.
We have public schools and private schools. You pax taxes to support the public schools and they are free for everyone to use. You can choose to not use them and go private, but you still pay taxes to make sure the schools stay open for the common populace to use.
Why should healthcare be any different?
