Well for some of us non-booze drinking recovering alcoholics. Worry not mother nature still wants you to have tinctures and tastey things.
This is kind of a personal favorite of mine because I cannot acquire ever-clear in my state and I just hate to think using 151 proof ethanol is less adequate than it could be.
This stuff is great, you can add this to many recipes(I'll let you in on some in the near future) OR your can just take a teaspoon into your morning tea.

Slow Glycerine - this is good for diabetics because it doesn't mess with the bodies sugar/insulin much.

Ingrediants:
1. 1/2 pint(approx 200ml)FOOD GRADE GLYCERINE - this can be found at stores such as hobby lobby's, etc. DO NOT get the medical kind.
The Medical kind has volatile oils which are poisionous for ingestion.if your in a pharmacy your in the wrong place.

Materials:
1. Pint Size Mason Jar
2. A Cheese-Cloth

Directions:
1. Measure about half of a pint of your FOOD GRADE GLYCERINE and pour it into your mason jar.
2. Finely grind your dry plant material
3. Heat pan at 150*f for 10 minutes in oven. This also helps to remove excess water which degrades the Grain Alcohols
ability to absorb the goodies from your plant material. This also decarboxlyzes the THCA to THC.
4. Pour the now decarboxlyzed plant material into the jar with the Glycerine.
5. Shake every day whenever you think about it for 3-4 weeks. Test it at the 3 week mark if a teaspoon gets
you lifted(be sure to wait 2 hours to know for sure after ingestion) you can just end it there.
6. Strain the plant material out of the glycerine
7. Store the glycerine perhaps in a dark container in the refridgerator. Glycerine tinctures have less of a shelf-life
than do alcohol(Such as green-dragon).
