no thanks is good in theory but most every post by certain members as well as certain types of posts/threads would inevitably become clusterfucks. i personally feel that point systems are superfluous because a poster's reputation is determined by his posts anyway, but if special recognition is to be given to a certain type of post it makes much more sense to recognize what is helpful than what is unhelpful. no thanks would just draw more attention to what we're already trying to forget is around. what's the use in that?
i agree it should apply universally to all forums though. and posts in ffa should def count if posts are being counted at all.
