When I bake fire-crackers I try to keep them at about 280-300(fahrenheit) degrees for about 20-25 minutes. I think your recipe is fine and I'm sure it works swimmingly! I just wanted to share my input as well. I may just be too careful with the heat, but I am always so worried about burning away my actives

Microwave's scare me because you have little to no control over the temperature, and microwaves vary from strength and settings depending on model and manufacturer. Just trying to put out my 2 cents.
