Mydriasis

In his head everything is so loud,
but when he speaks nothing comes out,
and when he tries to be by your side,
he gets confused and goes to hide out.
he so just wants to be - found.
but none of this even made a sound.

we're just drops of salt-water,
bathing in the same strange current,
and neither of us even made a sound.
