So true. We all have a bit of a duty to remain positive. I feel that optimism lends to being a visionary and a visionary moves the world forward. No pessimist or doomsday believer ever created a cure for a disease, invented an amazing technology, or really helped mankind in general because what's the point, right? I actually believe those people enter the Catholic Church.
Anyway, I'd much rather look back and be part of the solution, especially when it means I'm happier throughout that journey, as well as make a lot of friends in the process and hopefully leave the world in a better state than before I got here.
At the end of it all, at least I can say that I tried and I did my level best.
