alright, i think its still agreed that this whole 2012 shi could be complete BS.

but if i had to stick my 2 cents in, i think i may have compiled a few theories.

1. the whole myan calendar thing and everyone going on about how its gonna end and something is gonna happen either Armageddon or spiritual enlightenment...

2. we could go the bible route and pitch in the revelation and gods gonna end the whole thing

3. the calendar was just a calendar and what happens when a regular calendar ends? you throw it out and get a new one. for all we know, the myans just happened to make a accurate calender and got lazy in the end and didnt want to make a longer calendar. fo example, on your computer, your little clock in the lower right-hand corner, if you change the year it can go from 50-100 years from now, we could make it go as far as 100, but for why? Y2K hype for real.

4. Something we all over-looked and it could be anything we haven't thought about.

5. Those aliens probably are coming back and maybe the M-calender was a "timer" of sorts.

6. or, it could just be nothing and we are all idiots for freaking out, kinda like y2k, or June 06, 2006, or July 07, 2007. take your pick

i think people are just tired of nothing really happening and want to believe that something exciting will happen.
