im not sure how well youll be able to sleep on the niacin but its worth a try.
and yes, try to limit your carb intake because carbs are "used up" first in your body, meaning if you limit your carb intake your body will not have to burn through excess carbs AND then protein AND THEN finally fat.
i was just listing the order that your body uses its nutrients, carbs -> protein -> fat. that why that atkins diet limits carbs, its supposed to make it easier to get into fat burning mode when you are not eating carbs.
