On a serious note I think this could revolutionize education (and spelling) along with entertainment. But I also wonder if it would start a whole new epidemic of anti social addictions. Kind of along the lines of 2003 a Space Odyssey, with the brain caps.

Edit: whoops just read more carefully on the article. That looks more like a possible therapy for amputee victems. Allowing them to "feel" their missing parts, and alleviate the phantom pain so often plauging them. Ted.com has some good lectures with projected body senses, but I am too tired to sift through the site right now.

SO NASA spent millions of dollars and a good year and a half developing a pen that does not need gravity to draw the ink down. The Russians just brought pencils...
