heh i wish i knew how to weld too, but luckily i didn't have to for this bike, just assembly, it is a kit after all.
i have taken it "offroad" on some grass and a little dirt path, but you cant really ride it like you would a dirtbike, i only have suspension in the front, and even that isn't that great.
i just checked, if im not mistaken, my bike surpasses the capabilities of the original harley:
