amphetamines?
I find that they take the fun out of everything recreational, although very efficient shit. Yet many people I know pop them for just that--recreation.
I'm prescribed them for AD/HD but can't truly enjoy myself doing anything but classwork, busywork and smoking cigarettes while under the influence of the meds (Adderall in my case). I don't fuck with meth, but I've heard it's pretty closely related.
Oh and not to mention, it takes you 5 times as much bud to get yourself high, and at least that much more alcohol to get you drunk if you have also taken these types of uppers that day.
