One recipe that comes to mind is a dish I made this week. Roast a leg of lamb together with potatoes & mountain cabbage. The cabbage is the good part. Cut it into quarters but leave the thicker section close to the root intact & peel the leaves open. Mix dope with brown onion soup mix liberally between the leaves & bake slowly, basting with the lamb drippings occasionally. When the lamb is cooked, the cabbage is too. Strange, normally the ladies like to pick on the pieces which have liberal amounts of seasoning on them
