If you want the fastest and most reliable operating systems ever, well, that is Snow Leopard so far in my experience. This is on a 2 3/4 year old MacBook Pro. (2.16GHz Core 2 Duo with 4GB of RAM - only 2.5 accessible?). It was fast before but now it is pure 64-bit bliss. Fast as can be. 64-bit apps load instantly. I feel like have a new Mac, and for only $29.00!
