Using vista x64 for the past three years on dual 3.2ghz processors has been nothing short of wonderful, especially with 6GB ram wholly accessible.

OH, and are you running a majority of your apps including your browser in 64-bit. Snow Leopards entire Finder is 64-bit but will also run 32-bit programs at full speed side by side as well. Does Vista do that? Maybe you will have to wait and pay for Windows 7.
Snow Leopard is 64-bit from the ground up.
