Do not buckle to your insurance company!

If you have an agent, talk to him/her about the incident and see what can be done. The fault lies on the part of the other driver 100%, no ifs ands or buts, had he not been violating his order of suspension he would have been on the bus. It is the other drivers fault COMPLETELY! Tell that to the judge when you appear on the ticket. Had the other driver been properly licensed and insured it would be one thing but since he wasn't even supposed to be on the road its his fault, like from the time he opened the car door at home.
