The fault lies on the part of the other driver 100%, no ifs ands or buts, had he not been violating his order of suspension he would have been on the bus. It is the other drivers fault COMPLETELY! Tell that to the judge when you appear on the ticket. Had the other driver been properly licensed and insured it would be one thing but since he wasn't even supposed to be on the road its his fault, like from the time he opened the car door at home.

i like your advice man, but one thing
if i pay the ticket, its 75 bucks and my insurance goes up
if i go to court, i can get it dismissed and i dont think anything happens on insurance because i have no liability in the accident.
however, if the judge does not agree, they tack on court fines so i could be paying 75 dollars plus about 300 dollars just for showing up and wasting their time.
if you seriously think this can work im going to research this option. can anybody else comment on what oneder is saying here? it sounds good but i dont want to end up paying a few extra hundred dollars if hes wrong.
