Doesn't really matter. I mean, you could go with some high-quality soil and yield the same quality crop, but you've to understand that Cannabis is a weed which used to grow along the countryside in hard soil.

But if you want to go the good soil route, I suggest plain old garden-bought soil. The same kind you'd use with any plant, or flower. Miracle Grow works good as well, or ProMix.

As for nutriants-- they suggest three, 'Nitrogen , Phosphorus , and Potassium.' Iron phosphate might be good for the plant as well, but look into it.
