Laura Marling - Alas, I Can Not Swim

Alt folk by a (then) 18 year old girl. She's an outstanding vocalist.
jj - jj n° 2

I'm not too sure how to describe this album... I just know it's splendid.
Gov't Mule - Live at Bonaroo 6/13/2009

Great set all around, but the main reason I uploaded this was for the rendition of
Southern Man with guest vox by Grace Potter. So fucking good. Cover of
Creep by Radiohead was pretty good too. Could have used some post-prod to bring out the highs more though.
GIRAFFES? GIRAFFES! - SUPERBASS!!!! (Black Death greatest hits vol. 1)

Someone introduced me to their other EP,
More Skin With Milk Mouth and that really got me in to these guys. Non-definable in the traditional sense, these are a couple guys who love music and take it seriously without taking themselves too seriously. Instrumental.
Frightened Rabbit - The Midnight Organ Fight

Great indie rock album out of Glasgow. "The Modern Leper" is definitely one of the best songs of the year.
DJ Frane - Journey to the Planet of Birds(or Beats to Baze to, Vol 3)

All sorts of samples from spacey lounge sounds, jazz piano, electro funk, asian instrumentation, vocal clips of all sorts (jazz singer, robot, beat poet) and of course bird sounds. Definitely needs to be blazed to and listened to as a whole album. In fact I'm gonna do that right now.
If people want more I'll up the first two albums in his "Beats To Blaze To" trilogy.
Cloud Cult -Feel Good Ghosts (Tea-Partying Through Tornadoes)

This might be up here, already, Idk. I really like this album even though it didn't get great reviews. Really helps lift my spirits sometimes. Worth a listen for sure.
Beautiful Small Machines - Robots In Love EP

Indie/electro/pop, 17 minutes, very solid album with a good female vocalist
