my dream of growing is finally coming true cause i have a place to grow now. I will be growing in a room in the back of my garage it wil be small...about 4' x 4'. i plan to clean it up and cover the walls with plastic pvc or something. I have a hps light that i'm tryin to buy from a friend but i dont know anything about it yet...waiting on him to call! Any ways I'm going to start off with some cfl's. I will also be growing in soil and plan to have from 2 to 4 plants if possible.

The things i'm not so sure about settin up my room is my air intake and exhaust. I know i need intake for the fresh air and i need exhaust for the smell and also exhaust for my hps light if i get it. can i run the intake from the room into the garage and it work alright or will it have to be run outside?
And does the exhaust have to run outside or can i run it into the garage? I plan to use a carbon filter for the exhaust. and i'm guessing that i need fans for both intake and exhaust?

looking for adivce on soil and nutrients also? i'v heard alot about fox farm soil or something like that?

other than that i think i'v got it figured out aside from what strain to pick! any and all help and advice is welcomed!
