From what I recall is that the problem with medi before this was that the federal gov't was raiding because it wasn't a federal law but it was state law? But now that obama says he won't waste his time sending any administration for/against it. It's becoming pretty apparent, either he needs to stand up for what he said, or he has no real interest in the issue at all.
Where is Obama's response? I don't think there will be one, because as he said "this isn't a primary issue of concern". All about heath-care but won't stand up for some peoples only medication eh?

Actually the Federal government's power is VERY limited. For federal agents to come to a state and arrest someone, it must be done thru the sheriff of that county. If the sheriff were to stand up and tell them they have no jurisdiction to arrest anybody, they would leave. That it very explicit in the constitution where each state is sovereign. You can see how much the system has decayed thru lack of education and intimidation. The Federal Monster is in every facet of our life now.
