ive experienced the same thing when i lived in fort mcmurray
long story short its a rich oil town so everyones rich and the guy i was buying pot of, had so much money and was making so much money spending it on ridiculous shit just trying to get rid of it so you dont get caught with a buttload of money cuz its fishy.
anyways he'd buy brand-spanking-new socks ( best feeliing in the mother fucking world brand new socks) and once he wear them one time he'd throw them out and i had this big speech with him how he should give 'em to the shelter.
long story short there's more crackheads with socks instead of barefeet in ft mac
