Okay I guess I'll transplant them once I get the chance... Should I put them in pots just a bit bigger, or should I move them to their final size pot?

The soil is completely organic (its from our compost in the back), its so organic that I've had to routinely pull out small plants that just pop out of it. I know its not dry because today I just made a bunch of holes in the soil for better water penetration. The reason why it looked dry is because they are in the basement and the dehumidifier was on, which sucked all the water from the top layer.

Speaking of dryness and soil, what do I need to do to properly maintain wet/dry water cycles? I've only read about people doing it, never about how to do it.

I would also like to start LST'ing them cause I have a limited space, so could I start that even though they would only have 2 sets of fan leaves? I read that you should wait for them to get 6-10 fan leaves, but does it actually matter much?

Thanks for the advice, but I always got more questions.
