I bought a 400watter for $200 on e-bay. The reflector was a cheap piece of shit with a cheap ballest that got hotter than fuck. I used it for maybe 2 grows and I got worried about fire. I then bought a SunSystem air cooled 400watter for $450. I can touch the lite after it's been on for 12 hours and feel no discomfort. The ballest is huge comparitively speaking and doesn't get hot at all. Buy quality, you'll sleep better.
