It's a fucked up thing. The guy is one of the greatest film directors of all time, yet he will be remembered most for boning a 13-year old. I know it's wrong, what he did, but it's also wrong how we obsess on this shit. After reading the article, I'm inclined to think the 32 years of ongoing attention after the fact has harmed that girl more than what polanski did. We, as a culture, seriously need to rethink our obsessive fascination with fame.
