I smoked with my parents, but even though I know my two older kids smoke,
I won't do it with them. As parents we say more by our actions than our words. Through my actions I try to model descretion, moderation, and security. We talk explicitly about these things as well.
Even though physically I would rather have them out smoking a joint insted of engaging in underage drinking, I'd feel terrible if any of them ever got busted.
