Well, my pessimism always left me feeling a bit stupid for worrying over shit that 99% of it didn't happen. Optimism allows me to celebrate what
didn't happen, rather than just find the next thing in line to worry about...something that, once again, probably won't happen either.
If something
does happen, at least I didn't fear or worry in the meantime, as that wouldn't have changed it in the first place. In fact, it's an utter complete waste of time that doesn't do anything to help move the world forward.
It's a win-win, so I doubt I'd ever want to revert back.
