Depends upon one's perspective. A hippie is a damn, dirty drug addict to a conservative self-righteous prohibitionist. But to a person free of pre-conceived stereotypes a hippie is a peace, nature and music-loving person who wears colorful clothes and prefers a simple living over life in the corporate Matrix.
