When I was a kid I thought it was a silly notion that your butt to pants ratio mattered one bit. Mind you, this was the 90's when pants were particularly puffy. But nonetheless, if they weren't falling around your ankles, your pants were fine. That's what I thought when I was young.

But here I am in 2009 and I can't stop checking the numerous mirrors I keep around to see if my pants are accentuating my backside juuuuust right. Bootleg jeans work the best for my particular shape. I like the slimest look possible but my butt isn't flat so the panst need to:

A: fit smoothly around the ass
B: fit slim through the leg

It's a delicate balance that when disturbed can lead to saggy crotches and bunching waistbands to showing too MUCH figure. Which isn't ever pefect.
