you're right. You didn't say in the world. You seem incapable of writing in coherant sentences, leaving it up to the reader to determine wtf you're going on about.
"But we won't be polluting that much anyway...since there are half the factories now as there was 30 years ago. It's just starting."
forgive me Flappy. I don't see how I could assume you meant there are 1/2 the amount of factories (in the world) as there was 30 years ago. CLEARLY, you were talking about American factories. "We" is clearly Americans, not humans, when discussing a global issue like Climate change.
that being said, once again, I'd love if you could prove that figure for me. Seems this guy for some liberal propoganda machine called "The Wall Street Journal" says 1997 was the year in which America had the largest number of active factories. Shrug. Must be an ignorant dude who thinks he knows more than he does. Sounds familiar.
U.S. 'Birthrate' For New Factories Is Steadily Falling: Decline Prompts Concern About Long-Term Health Of Nation's Manufacturing TIMOTHY AEPPEL / Wall Street Journal 15mar2006
PS-- NAFTA was signed in 1992. Which is irrelevant to discussing your "30 year" decrease in manufacturing jobs...but this is neither here nor there.
