education about where service is needed, what service entails, who's involved, and what the benefits are are important issues.
I want to volunteer, but without organizations ASKING for help, I would have no where to really do so in an organized environment.
How is this any different? People promoting ways for people to serve/volunteer to make their communities and country better.
If you believe this is a secret plot to enslave the population, fine. But I'd still like an answer as to how someone in government or politics can promote service and volunteerism without receiving this criticism? Is it possible?
