I went to the inland invasion back in 04 I believe it was. A ton of bands were playing (the sex pistols, the buzzcocks, the damned, X, circle jerks, tsol, social distortion, pennywise, the offspring etc.).

The night before I was drinking heavily and then couldnt fall asleep so at 2am I drank a bunch of nyquil and passed out. 3 hours later we had to wake up and take off.

I got through seeing the circle jerks and tsol and the adolescents, being squished to death by nazi skinheads, eating the swirling inland empire dust etc. when I started to feel a bit sick.

I went and sat down and started to puke. All my friends kept trying to help me by getting me water and stuff but I had a major headache and just kept puking.

Then I went in the bathrooms to try and take a shit and the floors were literally flooded with poop and piss.

I left and lay back down, trying to drink water, but throwing it up, passing in and out etc.
Not one person (security etc.) did shit.
People thought I was just really drunk. I would barf and then drink some water and theyd be like "PARTY ON DUDE!" thinking it was vodka.

By nightfall I could here the buzzcocks and then X playing and got up to try to watch...still feeling a bit crappy.

During social distortion a sort of riot broke out, everyone started collecting mounds of trash and lighting bon fires. There were probably 60 moderately sized fires throughout the field. Everyone was sick of this bullshit event, and its bullshit promoters.

Then we watched the sex pistols and everyone decided to bum rush the "orchestra seats"...I mean shit..We already paid $50 to stand a mile away from the stage. Some punk show right?

I guess it was crazy to me cause I very well could have died.
