Could be gnatz(fruit/fungus flies).

You should be able to tell if they are spider mites cause they will spin webs all over your flowers and potentially ruin your crop. If they are gnatz, that means you're over watering and you either need to re-pot your plant or else try putting a tea spoon of hydrogen peroxide in each gallon of water you give them. Or just a couple drops per feeding. H202 is supposed to be a mold fighter, but I've always found just re-poting is the best.

Look near the bottom of the pots and see if you can see them crawling in and out of the bottom holes of your pot. That would mean they are the fruit flies. A temporary fix to stop them from eating your plant would be a spray bottle with water and a little dish soap.
