You can, but why would you want to?
I'm here to say beards do get itchy from time to time, when the weather gets dry. Also food does get in it.
I can't imagine why you'd want to complicate it with dreads on top of that
Your skin under your beard is your face and it responds completely different than your scalp.
I think this would be highly uncomfortable.
