Sectioning and Backcombing hair can take a LONG time anyways. I think my friend said it took like 5 hours to completely get his hair ready for dreads(If I remember correctly). Let alone the fact that as everyone has said before takes a long time to have actual dread locks.

There is no magic dread potion where you can wake up with fat locks. Patience is required.

It's kind of cool how they work though like my buddy had a few dreads form and grow together and make one thick lock.

And there is no way to "undread" your hair once they are formed, you have to shave it.
