It is unix. A Mac, using the Terminal can be as complex as you want it to be. Having as much experience with macs as you claim you should know this.

Keep telling yourself that. Do you even know what Time Machine is? You should since you know so much, right? Then you should know it backs up your ENTIRE system every hour to an external hard drive. So you are wrong again regarding the no recovery thing. A crash is different than say a logic board going bad - you do realize this, right? With Time Machine there is no way you can lose data unless it is a hardware issue.

AGAIN, Apple is a hardware company, that is their bread and butter. Apple just had there best 1/4 ever selling Macs and have gained an impressive 5% in only the last few year (they are at around 10%). Yeah, what a poor performing company! This with the worst economy in my generation.

As I've done with you, I simply correct people, they then get offended because they do not know what they are speaking of and start a fire by resorting to name calling. That is pretty much what every Mac thread turns into around here, with users being 90% PC users.

How about just booting into Windows for games and using a Mac for real stuff.
