i agree with what your saying though, i dont know if elevated consciousness would be the word i use but i definitly see what you are getting at. we're metaphorical blank slates belief-wise when we're born so we're expressing what we truly are underneath all our programming and rules and beliefs and all that stuff.
if one was to believe in reincarnation there would have to be some kind of consciousness we possess that extends beyond the physical realm or universe. something bigger than our egos. maybe kids are more connected with whatever that is?
