maybe somewhere deep down inside all of us theres a survival instinct that still remembers that we are all dependent on every other living thing on the planet. theres a balance in the system(planet earth) that we have destroyed with our consumerism, and species loss is a big sign that its only going to come back to us in the end.

all life evolved amongst all other life, i believe its fitting to say that extinction will eventually reach the human race if we dont try and reverse some of that damage.
