There are thousands of people who are willing to take the shitty pay and borderline abusive working conditions of public schools and actually seek employment there in order to foster a sense of ability in children so they may be able to rise up and become contributing members of society but...
Public education, which is a very necessary investment, doesn't turn a profit.
And how do think privatizing the educational system would work?
Keep the poor stupid is what it sounds like to me, on all fronts.
I'd much rather leave Afghanistan to the Taliban if it means that no child really is left behind.
War turns a profit though, where do you put the investment?
