You think a system that puts Self over others is one to be lauded, not only should we be a capitalist nation, you seem to say, we should remove every check and balance we have in our current system in favor of lassez faire uber-capitalism.

I believe we have a duty to look out for our fellow man, especially those who are unable to care for themselves. I believe our society places too much emphasis on personal wealth, and looks down on those who do not have it. I believe if we are ever to have a free and equal society we must move towards the final goal of communism, the dissolution of currency.

Scarcity is what causes the worlds ills. Resources, those who hoard them and those who seek them. I cannot in good conscience support a system based on acquiring wealth. I do not think man was made to toil for years for slips of paper.

So while you and J come to the HC debate thinking of dollar signs, of taxes and their ramifications, of what you perceive as a threat to the system you support, I come to the debate believing wholeheartedly that it is worth bankrupting this entire nation to put us on an equal footing.

There you go J, more of those "moral" arguments you hate so much. I never understood why though. To me when the issue is the health and well-being of the populace what can one use but moral arguments?
