Shit nigga thats high roller and not middle class. The Majority of people in my country earn under US 70K a year, and according to americans i have spoken to, would be eligible for food stamps and considered lower class - thats our middle class

you make some good points but u dont realize one thing about american that a lot of europeans and non-americans dont seem to get cuz they dont have it like it is here.
ok its great that in n zealand everyone can have a high standard of living, like 99% or whatever,
the thing is, in america there are a lot of uneducated, poor, ignorant people...
its not my fault, or gwbushes fault or john kennedys fault, but they are there.
-also a huge part of the reason for them being here is because it is the land of oppourtunity where people who are in shitty circumtances can come and work hard and hopefully be better off than living in the squalor of where they left from.
so its great to make more people educated, and give them quality services etc,.... but far more realistically here the things that will make people have better educations is to have loving parents, a good home life, etcetcetc various things, and if u want to make it the gov'ts "job" to make all the ignorant uneducated people suddenly upper middle class then all that will happen is u will bankrupt society trying to give them all the "trappings" of being upper class without giving them the wherewithal to support themselves, u cant have "false middle class" based on taxing the rich to pay for it, because its unsustainable.
so the thing is, a huge number of people in america do have pretty high standards of living, im not talking about the rich peopl, im talking about the middle class people whos dad works at a ford plant and shit, those people have pretty good lives compared to the rest of the world.
my main point here is that we need to teach people how to fish , rather than endlessley provide them with more and more fish and hope warren buffet and bill gates bank accounts can keep picking up the tab....
the way to make our country sustainable, is not to have more entitlements, its to have more self-sufficiency and people providing for themselves, im all for the gov't helping them out, but not becomming a nanny state that funds and sustains their ignorant inefficient and unsustainable behavior.
