New Zealand has tonight qualified for the WC next year in South Africa, for the second time ever and 27 years after the first time. Congrats to all the Kiwis on the board, well done bro's!
Bosnia is playing Portugal later today in a first leg (of two) qualifier in Lisbon, a historic chance and I'm already gettin' warmed up with Jägermeißter, 7 hours before kick-off.
The USA has also already qualified, as have Australia, England, Germany, Serbia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Denmark, Italy, The Netherlands, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Honduras, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and of course South Africa as the host nation.
8 more countries are yet to be given a ticket to South Africa, 4 from Europe which will be decided in 2 leg clashes between Bosnia vs Portugal, Ireland vs France, Slovenia vs Russia and Greece vs Ukraine, the other 4 are coming from the African continent.
Being it the biggest sporting event on the planet (far bigger then the Olympics), it deserves a thread in Yahookas sports forum and if the mods don't sticky it, I'll be bumping it as the time comes near. I did it 3 years ago, I'll do it next year again.
