In other words, you will prohibit your kid from smoking the sacred herb because you didn't like you childhood? As if his life will just some how be extraordinarily better because of it.

I am not a father, and pardon my observation, but I think it would be better for our kids if we inform them and accept it instead of prohibiting and looking away ignoring the fact that once out the door he'll do it anyway, worse yet, he'll be uninformed on the subject, probably becomes a statistic in our jail system by age 17.
