If you're growing, I have been told if your stocks of your plant are large enough to stick a wood wedge in the base and it will shock the plant and put more THC into the buds and leaves.
I would be careful though you may kill the plant.

If you're smoking, all I can tell you is skip every other day. I usually don't get high like I would if I had smoked the previous day.
