Big A is doing pretty good today. She was sacked out yesterday for most of it and today she says it's more sore than painful. I went out a got a heating pad for her, which will double for cramps and has a moist option for steam in the winter (can you tell I'm excited about this heating pad
) And it really seemed to help her out.
Last night she said that she was really scared she was going to die that night and we talked a little about that, for what it's worth. It's hard to explain how you can see the whole genius of the Universe in someone's eye and explain how you just know it will be okay when one passes and the other doesn't. I have to admit it would be a blessing to go at the same time, but who knows what will happen and how blessing will flow afterward, should that be the case. Knowing our time is short always helps keep things in perspective when we are bickering and picking at each other. Which never happens
I'm going to smoke a small one before I go into the the Centre for Bible Study and some crib this morning. It's a day I'm just attending and not specifically my day to 'run things' although community doesn't have a day off specifically
It's nice to feel at home when you walk into a place and I'm beginning to get that there.
