imo, too many private breeders and growers will want to keep the genes pure of things like that. i think that yes, there will be a market for over-processed, chemically-injected, government-regulated crap in a box for sale on store shelves which is sad, but cannabis is far too spread out on a world wide level for any one or more governments to fully dominate and control. in fact, if that happens (government regulation/commercialization), i can see another crusade happening in marijuana, one like the organics craze, where ppl will want to keep cannabis pure, and will form another sub-culture out of that. in my vision of a regulated marijuana future, i see more of a drive for preservation by ppl who want to keep marijuana pure, but i also see the bleaker side of industry.
